CYCLADES – Text Saint-Louis:
Adorned with enamel and rice-cut flannel-grey crystal.
This pebble-like paperweight invites onlookers to plunge in to an
aquatic nebula fashioned by the magic of our master glassmakers.
A sprinkling of blue and white stars emerge on the surface. As if
bouyed by an undulating seabed composed of sapphire. Outremer
and navyrods, all individually positioned using tweezers. Like the
Cyclades themselves. This object offers a perpetual constellation
to admire, from the infinite blue of the Aegean Sea to the pure
whiteness of the islands‘ cliff-top churches.
