Only cherry blossom flowers are enclosed in this paperweight.
The precious moment of their blooming is preserved and frozen in
clear crystal, while deep flannel-grey cherry tree branches embrace
the surface of the paperweight. As poetic as the “Sakura” – the cherry
trees of Japan –, this paperweight defies both our gaze and our
perception of time.
