Original text of Saint-Louis:
Drawing on the millefiori technique, the decor of the Starry Night paperweight plays out against a sky blue crystal backdrop. Its twinkling background is made from an array of glass rods – some black and white, some others white and green – that have been carefully arranged using tweezers to form a constellation.
With delicacy and simply, Saint-Louis recreated a night under the stars.
